Why should you join?
With an estimated 10 million car seats going empty every day on the highways in the UK alone, there is plenty of opportunity to earn money if you own a car or travel cheaper if you don’t own one. Car sharing is good for the environment and a simple way to cut CO2.
If you don’t know someone with a car driving the same road as you, there are new websites, like PickupPal that offers the service of connecting you with empty seats. There are also many joint car ownership programmes or car clubs that let’s you share a car with others and thus saving both energy and money. In the UK you the site CarShare.com is a directory of car sharing websites.
