Don't Buy Battery!
Battery eggs are a cruel industry. It is cruel and there has been research to indicate battey farm chickens are more likely to contain samonella. Please do your bit and only buy free range/organic eggs.

Why should you join?
Free range eggs have been shown to be healthier. In my opinion they taste better and they leave your conscience lighter.
Most people don't even check the label on their eggs. More people need to know about this terrible industry.

I will buy free range eggs whenever I can
To ensure that the hens that produce the eggs live in decent conditions and I keep my conscience in tact.

A petition is the ideal way to demonstrate public support of your cause, and put pressure on a person or organisation to take action.
There are no petitions for this campaign yet. Why not create one?
Letter-writing campaigns have always been a staple of campaigning action. Now you can put pressure on a person or organisation by getting your supporters to send a letter by email, with just a few clicks.

We need to take action!!!
I have been talking to a couple of people who help run green voice about my campaign recently.
And they are right when they say some form of action needs to be taken and soon!
Petitions demos and the general spreading of awareness has been suggested.
I would like to make some leaflets/ stickers for people to download print and distribute around their local area and shop, to educate those who buy battery without even thinking about whats in their trolley. I hope this will attract some interest to the cause at least.
Also I am part of "Sheffield Animal Friends" and have not yet been a very active member. But I will approach them with this campaign and try and get thier help in spreading this awareness and also get their help in starting a petition, which we will then show to restaurants and shops (both big and small) to try and persuade them from selling /using eggs in thier shops and recipes.
Most universities will have societies similar to sheffield animal freinds and I urge people to push this campaign onto those sort of groups to help raise numbers.
I hope to go down to London in a couple of weeks to talk with some green voice members and really push this forward.

Supermarkets!
My boyfriend and I went round supermarkets again the other day posting our "bad eggs" stickers.
I recommened everyone does it! Its fun if nothing else :)

We simply post big stickers which say "BAD EGGS" and then have things such as "battery farmed eggs are more likely to contian samonella" along with a few other facts and figures.
Its easy to make your own and sticker paper is dirt cheap, the idea is it'll make people think twice before buying them. Afterall it may not even occur to some people that their even buying battery! Those that obther to check probably wotn be buying battery anyway.

I don't have any copies of the images on my pc right now but I'll upload them when I get a chance incase your really stuck for ideas :)

I recommened everyone does it!
