Earthships - a basis for design development?
The name Earthship implies some sort of wierd craft, but in reality they are sensibly designed houses based on passive solar and natural energy flow. The thing is that living in an earthship requires a whole different mindset to living in an ordinary house......is this what people as a whole want or are we asking too much? Does sustainable building design imply a massive change in lifestyle or should we be looking for solutions that are eco-friendly yet still allow people to live 'in the manner to which they are accustomed'?Created about 1 year ago by Helen Marshall
