About Wayne Visser

About me: I am an independent writer, lecturer and speaker. I have written/edited five books, including four on the role of business in society, the most recent of which is The A to Z of Corporate Social Responsibility: A Complete Reference Guide to Concepts, Codes and Organisations. I run the CSR-International forum, and am a Senior Associate and Internal Examiner at the University of Cambridge Programme for Industry, where I previously held positions as Research Director and External Examiner. Before getting my PhD in Corporate Social Responsibility (Nottingham University, UK), I was Director of Sustainability Services for KPMG and Strategy Analyst for Cap Gemini in South Africa. My other qualifications include an MSc in Human Ecology (Edinburgh University, UK) and a Bachelor of Business Science in Marketing (Cape Town University, South Africa).

Activities: I have 3 focus areas at the moment: 1. Promoting the new book - The A to Z of Corporate Social Responsibility - in various regional launches around the world. 2. Writing two books on sustainability on behalf of Cambridge Programme for Industry - www.cpi.cam.ac.uk. 3. Interests: I live in Cambridge, UK, and enjoy art, writing poetry, spending time outdoors and travelling in my home continent of Africa.
