About me: I am currently pursuing a degree in environmental science and in my second year. I work part time for a non for profit organization known as Women for Improved Nutrition (WIN). WIN works towards empowerment of women as well as advocating for issues on the environment. This year after it became a national issue in my country that our forest cover is rapidly diminishing I decided to undertake a tree planting project dubbed MITI MILLIONI which means "One Million Trees" in my National language Swahili. It is an ambitious project but achievable by all means . I am an environmentalist, who believes in protecting our precious environment from destruction. I have joined this site with the hope of linking up and interacting with like minded individuals who believe in our world and that protecting it from destruction should be one of our fundamental agendas.
