Promises
- To plant a tree this year
-
Buy something secondhand next time you're out
(
I need to stop spending so much money on clothes anyway!
) -
Use public transport at least once a week
(
I'm the creator so obviously I promise this!
) -
I promise I shall try using a hanky!
(
I already carry a hanky!
)
Appeals
- Buy something secondhand next time you're out -
Re-use is better than recycling, and it's clearly much better than manufacturing new things from scratch.
- Use public transport at least once a week -
It's so easy to become dependent on your car, and if we all pledged to use public transport more then we'd make a huge difference to the environment.
