My Environmental Objectives: I live in one of the worst places for environmental or spiritual enlightenment, just outside of Las Vegas, NV. I desire to live in an environmentally conscious manner that has a positive impact on the earth

People I admire: Ghandi, Mother Theresa, Buddha none of the current crop of politicians.

Things I would like to change: Global warming for one, and the causes, which are our governmental policies which promote excess energy usage, and fail to promote green alternatives. All of my other concerns follow directly from those issues, in one way or another.

About me: I am concerned for the future, and find that Science Fiction is a safe place for voicing those concerns, and I have a wiki at http://sififutures.wikispaces.com/ where I have put an idea or two, and welcome any ideas that you might have. Activities: SCUBA diving, reading, computer games.

Interests: Environmentalism (Duh..)

Favorite Music: mellow classic rock, but also some western country blues.

Favorite Films: Soilent Green, the Omega Man, Mad Max and the road warrior series, many of the earlier star trek. Most of those are reflections on our current problems and issues, but often the change in perspective can promote new understandings.

Favorite TV shows: Currently watching Heroes and Eureka, for the escape values.

Favorite Books: Science fiction that deals with the problems of the future.

Favorite Quotes: first they laugh at you, then they ignore you, then they fight you, and then you win - Ghandi on peaceful revolution

Political Views: I am a Fiscal and environmental conservative, and therefore an independent, as none of the major political parties seems to understand those traits.
