My Environmental Objectives: Stopping climate change. I'd also like to see fewer cars, more cycling, better public transport, higher environmental building standards, less green space vanishing under concrete and more careful stewardship of our planet's natural resources.

About me: Vegetarian geek holding down a full-time job and also trying to right all the world's wrongs. Unfortunately there's only one of me and too many wrongs to right all by myself.

Favorite TV shows: Life's too short to waste it watching telly.

Favorite Books: I've recently read Six Degrees by Mark Lynas, which makes for very chilling reading. I also highly recommend Funny Weather by Kate Evans, the essential, accessible introduction to climate change. As Used on the Famous Nelson Mandela, by Mark Thomas, provides a shocking insight into the global arms trade. Fast Food Nation by Eric Schlosser should be enough to put anyone off visiting a "fast food" chain again. For light relief, I like most science fiction and fantasy, and my favourite fiction author is probably Terry Pratchett.

Favorite Quotes: We must be the change that we seek in the world (Ghandi, I think). When injustice becomes law, resistance becomes duty (unknown). I think therefore I'm dangerous (unknown). Political Views: Politics is too important to be left to the politicians. Party politics is part of the problem, not part of the solution.
